George III Mahogany Tea Caddy – Circa 1770-1790

A George III Mahogany and Ebony strung Tea caddy, the lid fitted with a shaped engraved handle with rosette backplates, standing on ogee shaped bracket feet, the interior having a trio of canisters strung with Ebony and turned Ebony lids. The caddy has a mellow colour.

Circa 1770 – 1790.

Size: 10in wide x 5 1/2in deep x 6in high. (26.5cm wide x 14cm deep x 15.5cm high)
