A set of late 19th-century adjustable vegetable brass seed measures, in the original pine case. The set also has two seed measuring spoons. Made by Blake and Mackenzie of Liverpool, Blake and Mackenzie were also printers of seed packets, in the days before mechanisation these measures would have been used to sell different quantities of seed.
Size: Largest closed 2.1/8 X diameter (5.2cm) X 3.1/2″ tall (9cm). Smallest closed 5/8″ tall (1.5cm) X 1.3/8″ (3.5cm) diameter.
